JOB POSITION: Purchasing Officer

AGE:Below 40 Years

SALARY PACKAGE:
Basic Salary:SGD 2,000 – 2,800

WORKING HOURS:
Monday – Friday:9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Saturday:9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Monthly Off Days:4 Days

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
👉Receive project material requests and review technical drawings and material lists.

👉Verify material specifications, models, quantities, and compliance with Singapore BCA standards.

👉Source quotations from local suppliers, compare prices from at least 3 suppliers, and prepare quotation comparison reports for the Project/QS Department.

👉Prepare Purchase Orders (POs), monitor delivery schedules, and coordinate material deliveries and acceptance at construction sites.

👉Maintain supplier relationships, update building material price databases, and monitor market price trends.

👉Verify and reconcile Delivery Orders (DOs), invoices, and Purchase Orders, and coordinate with the Finance Department for payments.

👉Resolve site issues involving material delays, quality defects, and incorrect or mismatched materials.

👉Ensure compliance with relevant BCA building material standards and applicable GeBIZ/BCA supplier registration requirements for government projects, where applicable.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Relevant purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.

Knowledge of construction materials, technical drawings, and material specifications.

Familiarity with Singapore BCA standards and building material requirements.

Experience obtaining supplier quotations, comparing prices, preparing POs, and coordinating deliveries.

Good supplier coordination, documentation, and communication skills.

Candidates with relevant Singapore construction procurement experience are preferred.
