Key Responsibilities:
👉Develop, program and commission PLC and HMI software for marine electrical systems, particularly winches, cranes and thrusters.
Configure and optimise VFDs / inverter drives for integration with PLC control networks.
👉Achieve precise speed and torque control for marine machinery.
Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) at the workshop.
Lead onboard testing, troubleshooting and commissioning during sea trials.
👉Work closely with the R&D engineering team to modernise hydraulic deck equipment into energy-efficient electrical systems.
Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD and electrical control system issues.
Support engineering, testing and commissioning activities both in the workshop and onboard vessels.
Candidate Profile:
Selection is primarily based on the candidate’s technical skills, qualifications and relevant experience.
Strong experience in PLC program, HMI, VFD/inverter systems, marine automation, commissioning and troubleshooting will be highly advantageous.
